Meera Jasmine has decided to shed her cute-but-naughty image by locking lips with not one, but two heroes! Nepaali in Tamil and Innathe Chinthavishayam in Malayalam are the two movies where the kissing scenes with her heroes have grabbed the attention of South India’s audiences.
In Nepaali, Bharath is Meera’s kissing partner; in Innathe Chinthavishayam, it is Mohanlal Bharath, and Southern screens are sizzling as a result.
V.Z. Dorai suggested that the script of Nepaali needed the kiss of life; Meera and Bharath provided it. Malayalam director Sathyan Anthikad decided that the best to show the characters are passionately in love would be a lip-lock. The kissing scene has been shot in Munnar – the honeymooners’ paradise – set to Ilayaraja’s melodious tunes and sung by Vijay Yesudas and Shwetha.
This will surely add to Meera Jasmine’s star value and help revive her slipping position in Tamil and Malayalam film industries. We just have to watch if Meera will repeat a similar stunt in Telugu films too. Let us hope so!
