Allu Arjun and Anushka in Vedham

Director Krish, who won rave reviews and accolades for his debut film Gamyam, has roped in an unusual cast for his next film titled Vedham. This casting coup will be talked about for a long time and it definitely ushers in a new trend in Tollywood.

Krish has roped in Allu Arjun, Anushka and Manoj as lead actors in his next film.

The actors will not do ‘guest appearances’ but ‘lead roles’ in the film. Anushka and Allu Arjun have not been paired opposite each other. They will be doing prime characters along with another hero, Manchu Manoj. This is multi-starrer in the truest sense.

The film is to be launched on 7th June. The movie is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad under the Arka Media banner. M M Keeravani scores the music to the lyrics of Seetharama Shastry and ES Murthy. Cinematographer, Jnanashekar, who has handled the camera for Housefull is filming it.

Anushka said Nayanatara is not my competitor

A single hit is enough to bring many changes in a film star, especially in actresses. Though Actors never used to come out openly against other heroes, many actresses try to show their supremacy over the other heroines after giving a hit. Once they deliver a hit can not restrain themselves from passing one or two comments against the other heroines.

Anushka is not an exceptional case in this regard. Her latest hit ‘Arundhati’ placed her in front of media giving them enough stuff to live upon for a while, with her comments against bare-back beauty NayanataraWhile in a chit chat with a film reporter at Hyderabad, Anushka said that, ‘I think I deserve the appreciation and honours for my acting in the film Arundhati Really it is a critical role in my film career. It is quite a difficult task to deliver so much variation while playing the dual roles. I don’t think even Nayan can give such a wonderful performance, and as far as
the film is concerned, I think there is no competitor for me in the near future, even it is remade in other languages.’

Is Anushka doing an item song?

That seems to be the question which is still lingering in the minds of many. There was a strong grapevine that the hot beauty Anushka will be doing a special item song in the debut film of Naga Chaitanya but later it was all quashed as a rumor.

However, there are still those who say that this is going to be a surprise package. So it looks like the mystery will be on till the movie actually hits the screens. Wonder what Anushka has to say to this....

Anushka's Arundhati Still Going Strong

Despite so many days after its release Arundhati is still going strong and in many instances
is raking in more moolah than new releases, what could be the reason for this?

An analysis reveals that there are two primary reasons for this tremendous run for this
film, first there are repeat audiences and the second all films released after Arundhati
have not matched up to the film, they have not been able to take on the might of Arundhati
and so Arundhati still rules the box office roost.

Analysts say that the film will keep the box offices bells ringing as long as a very strong
contender in the form of a big hero film does not arrive, keeping the present market trend
that is going to take sometime and so till such time it is indeed Jai Ho Arundhati!!
