Allu Arjun and Anushka in Vedham
Director Krish, who won rave reviews and accolades for his debut film Gamyam, has roped in an unusual cast for his next film titled Vedham. This casting coup will be talked about for a long time and it definitely ushers in a new trend in Tollywood. Krish has roped in Allu Arjun, Anushka and Manoj as lead actors in his next film.
The actors will not do ‘guest appearances’ but ‘lead roles’ in the film. Anushka and Allu Arjun have not been paired opposite each other. They will be doing prime characters along with another hero, Manchu Manoj. This is multi-starrer in the truest sense.
The film is to be launched on 7th June. The movie is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad under the Arka Media banner. M M Keeravani scores the music to the lyrics of Seetharama Shastry and ES Murthy. Cinematographer, Jnanashekar, who has handled the camera for Housefull is filming it.

Anushka said Nayanatara is not my competitor
A single hit is enough to bring many changes in a film star, especially in actresses. Though Actors never used to come out openly against other heroes, many actresses try to show their supremacy over the other heroines after giving a hit. Once they deliver a hit can not restrain themselves from passing one or two comments against the other heroines.
Anushka is not an exceptional case in this regard. Her latest hit ‘Arundhati’ placed her in front of media giving them enough stuff to live upon for a while, with her comments against bare-back beauty NayanataraWhile in a chit chat with a film reporter at Hyderabad, Anushka said that, ‘I think I deserve the appreciation and honours for my acting in the film Arundhati Really it is a critical role in my film career. It is quite a difficult task to deliver so much variation while playing the dual roles. I don’t think even Nayan can give such a wonderful performance, and as far as
the film is concerned, I think there is no competitor for me in the near future, even it is remade in other languages.’

Kisses Vs Cleavages
If Priyamani was trying to resurrect Drona with her bikini acts this Friday, Charmee was seen trying to save 16days with her kissing acts and to the disappointment of both the
ladies both the films are likely to go down the drain.
If initial reports are to be believed then Drona and 16days have both been rejected by the
audiences, both these films have on the sideline brought about a discussion and that is if
kisses (lip locks) are more appreciated by the audience or cleavage shows. What is it that
the audiences like to pay for?
The naughty answer for this would be to say that audiences would like to pay for one and see
both the acts (Kisses and bikinis), but in reality no one knows the truth, audiences have
happily paid to watch a zeenath Aman's cleavage in Qurbani and Dimple Kapadia's lip-lock
with Anil Kapoor in Janbaaz. So debate of the kisses and the cleavages goes on, no definite
answers here!!

Anushka to cross Mahesh Babu in collections??
The magnum opus 'Arundhathi' that released recently is breaking the all time records of Telugu film industry. The talk of the film spread like a wild fire. Initially this flick released with 120 prints and has increased it to 250 prints now. Even in B and C centers this flick is going good. So far there was a record set by Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Pokiri' and now Arundhathi is likely to rewrite this record and cross Pokiri collections. Good luck for this one Anushka!!!

Anushka and her whopping one crore
The Tamil film 'Billa' starring Ajith and Nayantara is being remade in Telugu with Prabaas playing the lead role. Actress Anushka has been roped in to play the part that Nayantara performed in a flamboyant way. Nayantara sizzled on screen with terrific costumes and even featured in a two piece bikini in the film.
After the producers of the Telugu version highlighted the fact that Anushka too should act wearing a two piece bikini, the actress consented but then has asked for a whopping amount of rupees one crore. The producers are reportedly okay with this.
'Billa' was shot extensively in 'Little India' in Malaysia in a stylish, youthful and extravagant manner. Audiences loved the cinematography, background music and costumes amalgamated with the good looks of all the actors.
The Telugu version too is expected to follow the same pattern. Anushka is a very successful actress in Telugu films and has it in her to recreate the same magic that Nayantara had successfully done. Anushka had featured in one Tamil film 'Rendu' alongside Madhavan but then the film didn't do so well at the box office.
With Anushka's remuneration reaching a crore of rupees she becomes the second highest paid Telugu actress after Ileana.
