Recently the family of Capt. Sikander Rizvi residing in a flat at Joppling Road in Lucknow had a famous visitor, known to the world as Sanjay Dutt.
The Baba of Bollywood accompanied with his wife Manayta and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh to establish the connection with the life of his late father Sunil Dutt.
During the turbulent times, just after the country got sliced up resulting in the formation of Pakistan, Sunil Dutt who had crossed the border had found solace at the very same spot Sanjay visited.
The family that gave Sunil Dutt shelter and food had even protected him from the bloody Hindu- Muslim riots by giving him a fake name Akhtar.
This incident happened six decades ago when Sunil Dutt had not even set his eyes on becoming a film actor. Munnabhai was able to see an old photograph of his parents as well as a letter written by the late film star informing Mr. Sikander Rizvi's family about the birth of Sanjay.
Talking to the media, Sanjay said "My father used to say that this is your family. I could not find a chance to come and meet them. I finally got the opportunity to meet them. Now I feel that I have a family in Lucknow as well".
