For all those who have been lamenting over the recession and the huge financial crisis that has been engulfing the entire world, this news might well be causing a heart attack for the weak ones. Incidentally, it is about two movies and the amounts that have been pumped in for the making.
While the first one happens to be 'Maska' that is said to have been made at an estimated cost of Rs 14 crores, the makers are looking at releasing it with 300 prints to go in for a quick lap up of collections, the second one happens to be 'Arundhati' made at an extravagant Rs16 crores.
While MS Raju (Maska) is being chided for having spent so much and also due to the long session of shootings, producer Shyam Prasad Reddy (Arundhati) is said to be passionate about technical values and he has gone for a 35 print release as he believes the film has a long run and will increase the prints depending on the response.
