Is Pokiri sequel in making?

Warner Bros has joined hands with of Soundarya Rajnikanth to produce and distribute live action films down south and their Tollywood innings is all set to begin in the combination of hotshot Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath. "I am fine tuning the script," says the director, who is also happy to be associated with Hollywood banner.

It is touted to be the remake of actor-director’s history-making hit Pokiri and looks to be a winner on hand, provided it is designed as a genuine sequel. Obviously, by retaining characters, ambience and key issues of the first edition besides offering a daunting task to the furtive cop. It seems that producer Soundarya considers sequels as money-spinners. She wants to leave her mark in Tollywood with Pokiri 2, that is, if everything falls in place.
