| Two direct films have released this weak/.One is Samudra's 'Mallepuvvu' and the other is Vamsi Akella's 'Raksha'. Both the films have failed to attract the attention of masses. The movie 'Mallepuvvu' brought disgust for audiences and even Ilayaraja's music proved to be very pale and dull. Bhumika's posters for the film raised some expectations but finally it ended up as a dud.
On the other hand 'Raksha' is just ok as per the technical aspects but didn't gel well with the taste of audiences. The already released 'Phoonk' affected the collections of 'Raksha' badly.
Other films Gunde Jallumandi, Call Center, Ankith Pallavi and Friends, Homam and Baladoor have lost grip at box office. Only 'Asta Chemma' is enjoying great collections. 'Souryam' also pulled good openings and entertaining masses. |
