Chiru sounds the clap for Srikanth’s movie.

Srikanth’s 100th film titled Mahatma directed by Krishna Vamsi had been launched at an Aluminum factory on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi sounded the clap. K Raghavender Rao switched on the camera. Former Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy handed over the script and D Rama Naidu blasted a tri-coloured cracker. Dasari Narayana Rao directed the muhurt shot.

CR Manohar is producing this film under the banner of Golden Lions Films. The female lead is being played by Bhavana. The story is written by Parachuri Brothers.
Mahatma is a film with political overtones and Srikanth will have four different shades to his role.
