Jul 18, 2008: Whatever other political parties might be planning, Chiranjeevi is making his own calculations. He is said to be pretty confident of getting 200 seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
Whether it will be all alone or tie-up with the Left is not clear. Anyway, he is making no bones about his potential even if it has set tongues wagging among some learned men. While candidates’ selection is going on with the amount fixed for par ty fund, the actor is said to be planning to undertake a train ‘yatra’ from Srikakulam to the capital touching Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.
How he plans to cover other regions of the State has not yet been established.
