Pawan Kalyan puts Surya on hold

Pawan Kalyan is in no hurry to get back to the sets of his new underproduction film ‘Komaram Puli’. The shooting for the film was stopped to enable Pawan to camapign for the PRP in the elections.

Pawan Kalyan was slated to report for work from May 1. But he has now informed Surya that he is not in a mood to begin work now. Pawan will wait for the votes to be counted on May 16. It is only after the results are announced and a new government ( Chiranjeevi as CM?!) is sworn in, that Pawan will resume shooting for Puli.

Pawan kalyan's ‘Komaram Puli’ in August

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s new film ‘Komaram Puli’ will hit the screens only in August. The film has so far completed 70 per cent of the talkie part. Director SJ Suryah is now waiting for the polls to get over so that he can resume shooting.

Pawan Kalyan has taken time off from film shooting to work for the PRP. He is now conducting a series of road shows across the state. The elections in the state will be held on April 16 and 23. So Pawan will be free from the last week of April.

Suryah will resume shooting from April ending or May and will complete the film by July. London based model Nikisha is the heroine. AR Rehman is scoring the music for the film.

Komaram Puli release after elections

The film Komaram Puli starring Pawan Kalyan and Nikisha Patel is being produced by Singanamala Ramesh and directed by SJ Surya of Khushi fame. Manoj Bajpai plays a crucial role in this film where Pawan acts as a NSG police officer.
This film has been on the sets since last one year. There was some delay because of litigations in Pawan’s marital affairs. Then later, with the advent of Chiranjeevi starting the Praja Rajyam Party, Pawan became active politically and he is now the head of the party’s youth wing, Yuva Rajyam.
With elections round the corner, the film Komaram Puli has been put on hold. The film will now release only after process of elections is completed.
