Praja Raajyam' Turns Into 'Parivaara Rajyam'

Though Megastar Chiranjeevi has come up with a universal title for his party by taking the name of 'Praja Raajyam', the truth remains that it has become more of a family affair than anything else. Firstly, there was an issue with the title itself as he had to buy it from an advocate from the Cuddapah district. Most importantly, the norm with the election commission is that there must be a list of hundred voters for the registration of the party and when the list was examined, it is noticed that the members in the list happen to be comprising totally of Chiru's family members and then his servants, office boys and other staff in the production unit. Ironically, it is being said that there is not a single name of the regular politicians such as Dr Mitra, Harirama Jogaiah, Padma Rao or others and the opposition leaders have been lashing out at Chiru for making it more of a family party than the people's party. This is a question of ethics and integrity that Chiranjeevi has to answer and this time there are no filmy tricks to be followed.

Chiranjeevi extends thanks for over all support

Following the successful meet and formal inauguration of the party Praja Rajyam, today he met the press to thank once again to every extended support for the event and next to announce party's spokes men.

While speaking to the media Chiranjeevi shared his experiences of the party launch at Tirupathi on 26th August. He also announced two spokes men for the party, Dr.Mitra and Parakala Prabhakar.

Excerpts from the speech by the president of the party Praja Rajyam Chiranjeevi :

The party launch on 26th at Tirupati took place in an unprecedented way and has been a very unforgettable event.

The peoples support was immense one. They all have arrived there with their own expenses, and have also experienced difficulties in reaching and waiting at the place. Their gesture has really given me a lot of strength; I am very happy to receive such a huge support. I know that they all have come with immense faith and with dreams of a prosperous future. I promise them that the dreams will all be realized, and I also extend whole hearted thanks to all.

The volunteers, police and government officials at the place have contributed very much to the security and other requirements with their services, to the huge gathering. Thanks to every one of them for their quick responses in offering service and organizing the masses.

I shall never forget the huge mass which congregated for the meeting; the very thought of it thrills me. I feel fortunate to be supported by the people despite experiencing difficulties in attending the meet.

I know that the media had trouble in covering the event. In spite of it, all the media people courageously covered the event completely. I render a special thanks to the press and media people. I am also to ensure here after to take all the care, not to repeat such things, which will obstruct the news coverage.
