A non-governmental organization filed a case against Dil Raju who produced the film Kotha Bangaru Lokam. The complainants alleged that vulgar romantic scenes were shot for one of the film’s songs at the holy Buddhist centre at Thitlakonda, near Bavi Konda in Visakhapatnam District. Based on this complaint notices were served on the producer Dil Raju by Chinna Reddy, Director of Department of Archeology and Museums.
The producer says that he had obtained necessary permissions before shooting for his film.
