Producers’ who has signed up Bhargavi in their films rushed to the scene. Among them, one of the producers expressed his concern over such unfortunate events to the media. She has been proposed to act in around 10 movies which have commenced filming. ‘Holidays’ is the movie that is in its final stages of completion.
He also recalled earlier cases like as of Divya Bharathi’s and Prathusha’s which incurred a huge loss for the filmmakers. He made forth a request for top artists to be aware of their commitments and keep them aloof to avoid such circumstances.
Bhargavi’s parents were deeply bereaved by their daughter’s untimely demise. Media people contacted them to enquire about this sad news.
The actress’s father said, “We know him (Praveen) only as a professional acquaintance to our daughter. He used to visit our home and speak to us. During those times, he was quite calm and spoke only about his job. He used to mind his own business and I am sure apart from this, no other relationship exists between him and my daughter. We never had the idea to marry her to him at all costs. This is what I can tell you and it’s the truth.”
Her mother who was gripped in sorrow said, “She stayed with us for the past three days and left just last night for an orchestra program. As she has to attend a movie shoot tomorrow, she left a day earlier. If I had a suspicion about this impending danger, I would have never sent my girl back.”

People who reside around Bhargavi’s house are stunned after hearing the news of her death. On being enquired they say that she’s a bold girl and wouldn’t take a decision like this.
She has been living here for the past four years. We know her very well and she’s a nice person. Often Praveen/ Bujji used to visit her by coming here. She introduced him to us as one of her relatives as a maternal uncle. In this case, it doesn’t seem like a suicide attempt. If it is one as suspected by the police and media, he wouldn’t be carrying a knife with him, say the neighbors.
After completing the primary investigation, police have shifted the bodies from the scene for post mortem.
Speaking to the media on phone one of Praveen’s brother said, “It is true that he got married twice. First time, he fell in love and married a girl. We accepted her into our family and they have a daughter. When he attempted for a second marriage, we objected. We were completely unaware about the third marriage or about Bhargavi, because many artists used to meet him in the pretext of organizing programs related to the orchestra.”
‘I do agree that he was not faithful in marital relationships. I and our late father were very much concerned about him because of this attitude. However, he is not so weak to attempt a suicide, and I don’t think he is bold enough to commit murder.
